Dura Vermeer is a Dutch construction company operating exclusively in the Netherlands. The company acquired Prins en Waterbouw, which already had an ongoing contract for the further development of the Float Barrier.

During development, Dura Vermeer worked closely and effectively with the creators of the Vlotterkering®.

They enabled the construction of a full-scale test site in Hoek van Holland, which was essential for testing and determining safety standards.

Dura Vermeer then successfully took the Float Barrier® to market, leading to its implementation in both Steyl and Arcen by the Limburg Water Authority.
