The historic center of Spakenburg — with its harbors, narrow streets, monumental buildings, and traditional shipyard — is a valuable and attractive place to live, work, and visit.

The Dutch Float Dike can be integrated into this environment in a highly sensitive and unobtrusive way. Planned interventions remain as invisible as possible and are highlighted only where they add value to function, heritage, or architecture.
